Wholesale

House-made vegan deli products ready for wholesale

At Berben & Wolff’s we have spent years perfecting the plant-based deli classics our customers line up for in Albany and Troy – from house-cured seitan pastrami to our signature sunflower burgers. Our wholesale program brings those same scratch-made foods to cafés, restaurants, grocers and food co-ops across New York’s Capital Region, so more people can enjoy honest, craveable vegan food without your kitchen having to build a plant-based line from the ground up.

Everything we sell wholesale is made by hand in small batches in our own commissary. We do not outsource, we do not rely on frozen commodity products, and we never cut corners on flavor or texture. When you put a Berben & Wolff’s product on your menu or shelf, you are offering your guests the exact same quality that has earned us a loyal following at both of our storefronts.

What We Supply

Our wholesale catalog is built around the items that made our name, plus versatile components you can work into your own recipes:

  • House-made seitan meats – our smoky seitan pastrami, savory deli-style slices and marinated seitan for cheesesteaks and stir-fries, all seasoned in house.
  • Sunflower seed burgers – hearty, allergen-friendly patties made from sunflower seeds and vegetables that hold up beautifully on the grill or flat-top.
  • Deli salads & spreads – chickpea “tuna” salad, herbed dressings, house sauces and remoulades that turn a simple sandwich into something memorable.
  • Baked goods & components – sandwich breads, rolls and seasonal extras produced to order for our partners.

Because we cook to order, we can also develop custom formulations, portion sizes and spice levels tailored to your concept. If you have an idea for a plant-based special, we are happy to build it with you.

Why Partner With Us

Small-batch quality, local delivery, growing demand

Plant-based eating is no longer a niche – it is one of the fastest-growing segments in food service, and diners increasingly expect at least one genuinely good vegan option wherever they eat. Stocking Berben & Wolff’s lets you meet that demand instantly with products that already have a proven track record, instead of gambling on recipe development and testing.

Working with a local maker has real advantages. Our lead times are short, our ingredients are fresh, and we can respond quickly when you need to adjust a standing order for a busy weekend or a special event. You are also supporting a small Capital Region business rather than a distant national brand, a story your own customers appreciate more every year.

Consistency matters just as much as quality. Every batch we send out is made to the same recipe and held to the same standard, so the pastrami sandwich a guest loves today tastes exactly the same next month. That reliability is what keeps plant-based items selling once they are on your menu.

Who We Work With

Our wholesale partners are as varied as the region itself. We supply neighborhood cafés looking for a standout vegan sandwich, full-service restaurants adding a plant-based section, breweries and taprooms that need shareable food, natural-grocery and co-op refrigerated cases, and campus and workplace dining programs that have to serve a broad range of diets every day. Whether you need a handful of items each week or a steady volume for multiple locations, we can scale to fit.

How Ordering Works

Getting started is simple. Reach out with the products and quantities you are interested in and we will walk you through current pricing, case sizes and our production schedule. Standing weekly orders get priority, and we coordinate a delivery or pickup rhythm that fits your prep days. Minimum orders are modest so you can start small, test items with your customers, and grow the line as it sells.

We deliver throughout the greater Albany and Troy area and can arrange logistics for partners a little farther out in the Capital Region. Because everything is made fresh to order, we ask for a short lead time on new or larger orders so we can guarantee the quality you expect.

Made to a Higher Standard

Real ingredients, honest labels

Quality wholesale starts with quality ingredients, and we are proud of what does – and does not – go into our food. We build flavor with whole foods, herbs and spices rather than long lists of additives, artificial colors or mystery fillers. Our seitan is seasoned and cured in house, our sunflower burgers are bound with real vegetables, and our dressings are mixed from scratch. The result is food you can describe to your own customers with confidence and put your name behind.

We take allergen awareness seriously and are happy to share full ingredient information for every product so your team can answer guest questions accurately. Many items can be adapted to be soy-free or gluten-free, and we will always flag what is possible when you tell us your requirements up front.

Packaging, Storage & Pricing

Wholesale products are portioned and packed to make your prep as easy as possible, with clear labeling and handling guidance so items store and hold well in a busy kitchen or refrigerated case. Pricing depends on the products and volumes you choose; because we make everything ourselves, we can offer fair, transparent case pricing and better rates as your standing order grows. We are always glad to put together a simple, itemized quote so you know exactly what to expect with no surprises.
